December RS Meeting Craft List

Our next RS meeting will be Thurs. Dec. 6th @ 7:30pm. We will focus on the Savior-- the reason for the season-- and we will also be making Christmas crafts. These crafts are BYOS (bring your own supplies) so please plan ahead!

Painted Ornaments

Supplies to bring:

Clear ornaments (glass or acrylic)

Craft paint
Optional:
Glitter
Glue dots
Glue pen

Yarn Wreaths

Supplies to bring:

yarn (up to 2 colors)

1 sheet green felt (if you want your leafs to have more rigidity buy 2 sheets of green felt and some pelon and iron them together)

red pom poms

straight pins (get the kind that are straight/ plain that seamstresses use)

ribbon

wreath form (you can order these through Catherine if you contact her BEFORE NOV. 25th. After that you'll have to bring your own.)

embroidery thread (if you want to stitch around your holly leafs)

sewing needle (again, if you are planning on stitching around your left)

Yarn Trees

styrofoam trees (cone shape; available at AC Moore)

yarn -size & color of your choice 

hot glue gun 

felt 

toothpick 

star foam stickers  

little bells or pom poms
